On 15 December 2025, the International Neural Network Society (INNS) was honored in Rome for its ongoing role in shaping the future of Artificial Intelligence. Our President, Francesco Carlo Morabito, was named an Italian Knowledge Leader 2025, a distinction that highlights the Society’s pivotal influence within the global scientific landscape.

This prestigious award was presented by Convention Bureau Italia in collaboration with ENIT (the Italian National Tourist Board) and the Conference of Italian University Rectors (CRUI).

The recognition celebrates the monumental success of IJCNN 2025 in Rome. By convening the world’s leading experts to advance research in Neural Networks and AI, INNS has solidified its position as a primary catalyst for scientific progress. While the award was presented to Professor Morabito, this honor belongs to our entire community and reflects the dedication to excellence that defines the INNS.
