Stefania Tomasiello is an Associate Professor of Computer Science at the University of Salerno (Italy), teaching Machine Learning topics. She is also a visiting professor at the University of Tartu (Estonia), teaching Fuzzy Logic and Soft Computing. Work-package leader in several funded projects and expert evaluator (ex-ante and ex-post) of applied research projects. TPC member in manyinternational conferences, including ACM and IEEE-sponsored events. Her main areas of expertise are machine learning and soft computing. She authored and co-authored numerous papers and one textbook in the above-mentioned areas. She serves as an associate editor in several indexed journals, such as IEEE Transactions on Neural Networks and Learning Systems. She is CoEditor in Chief of Evolutionary Intelligence, an indexed Springer journal covering the wide spectrum of Computational Intelligence. She is a Senior IEEE member and Senior INNS member. |
