Neural Networks Journal 2023 Best Paper Award
We are pleased to announce the recipients of the 2023 Neural Networks Best Paper Award are Suogui Dang, Yining Wu, Rui Yan, and Huajin Tang for their paper, “Why grid cells function as a metric for space". This paper is published in Neural Networks, volume 142, pp. 128-137, October 2021. More details about the Best Paper Award can be found on the Neural Networks' website.
Danilo Mandic, INNS President, selected to receive the 2023 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Prize Paper Award
The IEEE Engineering and Biology Society (EMBS) has several journals under its remit, one of which is the IEEE Journal of Translational Engineering in Health and Medicine. Danilo Mandic and his research team published a paper in this journal on "Smart Helmet" and this paper has been selected to receive the 2023 IEEE Engineering in Medicine and Biology Society Prize Paper Award.
The European Commission gathers views on G7 Guiding Principles on generative Artificial Intelligence
On 13 October 2023, the European Commission launched a stakeholder survey on draft International Guiding Principles for organizations developing advanced AI systems, which have been agreed by G7 ministers for stakeholder consultation.
